Finding Whitefriar Street Church

Whitefriar Street Church is located in the centre of Dublin city to the south of the River Liffey, between St Stephen’s Green (320m away) and St Patrick’s Cathedral (610m away). The church is easily identified by the golden statues of Our Lady and St John which flank the door and sits at the junction of Aungier Street, Whitefriar Place and York Street (which is 155m south of the entrance to the St Stephen’s Green Shopping Centre and Grafton Street).
 

Dublin Bus

Aungier Street is one of the key bus corridors into the city centre and the following bus routes serve the church:

Routes 9, 16, 16D, 68, 68A, 83, 83A 122: Stop outside the church.

Routes 14, 15, 15A, 15B, 15D, 65, 65B, 140: Stop 75m south of the church on Aungier Street;

The Luas Green line stop for St Stephen’s Green is 300m away at the east end of York Street, a three minute walk from the church.

Private Car

If driving, there are several public car parks in the area. There is also a small car park beside the church which gives 90 minutes free car parking on a Saturday evening and Sunday morning for those who come to worship in the church. The car park is accessed off Longford Street Little.
